Dos Primas (Two Cousins)

This year has been a blessed one for the Galleano Family. We have added two new granddaughters to our family tree. Gracie is 9 months, Sophie, 4 months, and both are beautiful. Both of our daughters and their husbands live close so we can enjoy our new arrivals often.

The past several years, we have noticed that the dynamics at the family holiday table has been changing. The children's table is now larger than the adult table, one generation making room for another to take its place.

New beginnings are a good thing, and as we watch our grandchildren, all seven of them, we can see the future. We see so much of our children in them, and also their grandparents, who while no longer with us, still influence our daily lives.

We wish you and your family a happy and safe holiday season. Here's to a great 2008.

New offramp - Cantu-Galleano Ranch Road

Galleano Winery will soon be easier to get to thanks to the new Cantu-Galleano Ranch Rd off ramp on the 15 freeway Watch for it in the near future, work has already started Nino and Madalena Galleano honored with street names See Map Nino Way and Madalena Dr. Nino (Bernard) Donald’s father and Madalena, Donald’s aunt were raised here at the Cantu-Galleano Ranch. They are both gone now, and they probably would not recognize any of these new streets; but once inside the complex they would know they were home.

Purchase numerous all-purpose red wine glasses that can be used for just about anything. Then think about the wines you love and invest in those shapes. Wine experts agree that the right glass makes a profound difference on how wine tastes. Whatever you purchase, you should add tulip-shape Champagne/sparkling wine glasses to your list.
